5 Things You Should Be Doing Before Getting Out of Your Bed

Here is our list of things you should be doing before jumping off your bed to ensure that your on top of your game.

1. Deeply inhale and exhale for about 5 to 10 times

Breathing is what keeps us going and keep us alive. Breathing is an incredibly powerful tool and it’s able to take us into elevated and transcendental states of our mind where we can become masters of our inner being. We rarely notice our breathing processes but being focused on breathing even this brief time before you get up will help you put your mind to peace. The key here is to do it slowly, breathe in and out deeply for as long as is it comfortable. You should feel your stresses and tension being quickly washed away. To enhance your breathing and get the most out of it try using some essential oils like eucalyptus. Take a few deep whiffs and you’re ready to seize your day. Begin your day by feeling refreshed energized.

2. Smile for no reason — just flex the muscle

Smiling is one of those ultimate life hacks at our disposal at any hour. It is impossible to feel anger or not feel better when you are smiling. To cure melancholia you should take advantage of all the available serotonin and endorphins flooding your blood cells. In various studies done on actual smiling process the results stated that smiling proved to reduce stress, decrease blood pressure and boost the immune system. Open your eye, put a wide smile on and go get it!

3. Move on!

Can anyone can say they lead a perfect life and never made mistakes. We doubt that. Everyone makes mistakes! Circumstance we come later to regret because we are feeling it might have been better if we didn’t do this or that. Forgiveness will benefit you more than anything else. To learn to let go you have to teach yourself to forgive and stop holding on to your past that causes nothing but suffering that you carry on with you all around. You can’t change past but you can create new present!

Everything is fluid and dynamic and appears in a constant state of change… Change is the only constant of our existence. You are not the same person you were yesterday, a week ago, or a year ago. Embrace it and stay hyped looking forward to how can you elevate your present by letting go of your past.

4. Express gratitude

Every new day is yet another reason to be thankful for being alive. All the things that we experience and are capable to witness on our planet in this universal arena is something to account and to be grateful for. We build our own reality every day and you should contemplate the fact that we have so many choices and possibilities daily to experience. Simply look around you and within, and you will always find something to be thankful for. Keep yours eyes and heart wide open.The eruption of enormous bliss will follow after you internalize what you have been given and if you learn to appreciate it, get the most of it and push forward.

5. Set your intentions

Thoughts tend to materialize themselves, appearing in the real world from the depth of your mind. What we personally experience is the result of our thoughts that we shape. We make things happen by a mere intention and you should control the state of your mind, setting certain goals to accomplish during the day is how you should begin your mornings. If you want to be happy you have to focus on doing what you know will bring you happiness and will push you forward. Get yourself out of any toxin and draining mental and physical environments and concentrate your energy elsewhere. Your situation won’t be moved towards a change unless you apply initial energy to move things towards a new direction.
