UK-based company British Condoms has developed the i.Con, in other words, "The World’s First Smart Condom,” and it’s like a FitBit for your man bits, basically.
It’s not an actual, reusable condom, but rather, it’s a ring that sits over whatever condom you’re using at the base. i.Con uses a nano chip and sensors to record every single detail about your performance in the sack, including how many calories you burned, speed of thrusts, total number of thrusts, total duration of sessions, average velocity of thrusts, girth measurement, and skin temperature, among others.
You can share your data with your friends, or make it public to the world, if you’re into that, but you can keep it anonymous if you want. Furthermore, you can also access other user’s public stats to compare with your own.
The i.Con app, on which you can download and view your data, is paired to the i.Con using Bluetooth. According to their official website, once you’ve downloaded your data, the i.Con will clear its memory so you can use it for your next sexy romp.
It comes with a micro USB port, so all you have to do is plug it into your computer for an hour for 6-8 worth of usage. And no, it won’t be available in different sizes, but it will have a band adjustment feature letting you flex the ring to fit your member.
i.Con is in the final stages of testing and is aiming for a general release in 2017. They’re not yet taking pre-orders, but they are allowing for “early bird registration,” so you can get in line if you can’t wait to get your hands on it. It will retail for 59.99 pounds, so about $73.
This is the future. Godspeed.
