Something that will always difficult for us to deal with is the death of a loved one.

Terminally Ill mom wants to die with dignity in an assisted death because "it s her right"

In this video, we hear of that very struggle that a single mother and her daughter are currently enduring as the mother deals with her terminal cancer diagnosis.

During the video, the mother talks about how worried she is that her daughter will come home from work to find her dead on the floor and that no child should have to endure that type of pain.

Mother, Christy, is a lawyer and former police officer and she is currently a strong advocate for people to be able to have the option to “die with dignity” by being allowed to get a medication to aid their death.

There have been other similar stories in the news in the recent past and these stories seem to always have some form of controversy surrounding them. Christy is a Christian woman and all she wants is a chance to not have to suffer at the end of her dying process. She also doesn’t want her daughter to see her suffering when it gets to that point where the pain is excruciatingly unbearable.

Christy and her daughter are trying to make it so that people in every state are able to have the option to get an end-of-life medication so that they can choose how, when and with whom they want to have their final moments.

To be able to make the choice to end their own suffering and not put their family members through the trauma of watching their loved one(s) suffering until the very end. How do you feel about this option? Do you feel it should be allowed in all 50 states or do you feel like the current end-of-life options are good enough as they are now?
