When the bond between a mother and her child is strong there is nothing that can break it, nothing that can come between them. This is clearly shown by the story of Ada Keating, who is 98 years old and Tom, her son, who is 80 years old.

At age 98, she moved to a nursing home to take care of his 80-year-old son

Tom was born when Ada very young and never separated from her. He never got married and never stopped living in his home. Their lives passed parallel until they reached old age, until about a year ago the son had to move to a residence for health reasons.

After several months living away from him, the mother decided that this was not the day to day that she wanted. Maybe he was no longer able to take care of his son, but that did not mean he could not help him.

Accustomed to being with her son, a year later the woman prepared her bags and showed up at the asylum to support him as much as possible and spend the time they have left alive. So without further ado, Ada began accompanying Tom at the residence of Moss View, in Liverpool, according to Liverpool Echo.

While the staff of the institution is the one who takes care of Tom, Ada is with him so that things continue as when they lived in his house. They watch television in the armchair, they entertain themselves with some board game or they are simply together while the hours fly. "I was sorry I could not attend Tom's needs at home. It's wonderful that we were able to meet, "explains Ada, happy to share all her time with the person she loves the most.

Ada and Harry, her late husband, they had four children: Tom, Barbara, Margi and Janet. Debi Higham, Ada's granddaughter, and other family members visit Tom and Ada often and say that the family is happy that they can both be together again.

"Every day I say good night and good morning. She never stops being a mother, "confesses the woman, who, according to the nurses, still scolds Tom from time to time.
