When Emre Olceroglu went fishing one morning in New Jersey, he was probably hoping for a very different catch than what he ended up finding.
As he was fishing, he heard horrible screeching coming from a nearby tree. What he found was a baby owl that had managed to get itself all tangled up in some fishing line. While trying to set the owl free, things got a bit dicey for a second. The poor creature ended up passing out from shock. Eventually, Olceroglu was able to get it untangled.
It just goes to show you that the kindness of a Good Samaritan can go a long way when it comes to helping those in need. When you go out into the woods, always take your trash home with you. Just imagine how horribly this would have ended for the owl if it hadn't gotten some help.
